Lynndy Smith
Lynndy Smith is the President & Co-Founder of the Global Defense & Industry Coalition, a 501c6 that serves as a united voice for the US defense community. As President of GDIC, Smith works closely with politicians and coalition leaders to unify the global defense industry and its stakeholders to help secure both regional and national security through better communication and policy reform.
Lynndy is also the Vice President of Government Relations at Acronis SCS, a US cybersecurity company dedicated to serving the Federal Government. Outside of work, Lynndy serves on seven different boards and coalitions including the Arizona Defense & Industry Coalition, West Valley Defense Alliance, Southern Arizona Defense Alliance, Mesa Industry & Defense Alliance, Yuma 50, E-Commerce Industry Council, and the State Society of Arizona.
Previously, Lynndy served as the Outreach Director for Congresswoman Lesko’s office. Before that, Lynndy managed multiple political campaigns including the NO on 127 Campaign where she helped organize over 300 coalitions against Proposition 127. She also served briefly with the late Senator John McCain. Lynndy received a bachelor’s degree in political science with an emphasis in international relations from Amherst College in Massachusetts.
